I understand more or less the UI and the processing pipeline. Because what I get is often washed out and soft. My goal is to be able to get similar results to what the jpeg from my camera produce with the ability to fix some artifacts and reconstruct highlights etc. I've chosen darktable because it is open source and because it's probably one of the few similar app running in Linux. Hi I've been trying to process raws for a long time in darktable on and off but I've never managed to get very satisfying results.
